Renault launches new range of trucks to Africa and Middle East
Renault Trucks has launched new range of vehicles in Africa and Middle East, as a part of its global expansion strategy.
The new range of Renault trucks includes C, K and D ranges that are designed to adopt extreme weather conditions and challenging terrains of Middle East and Africa.
Renault Trucks South Africa managing director Christian Coolsaet said: "This is a great day in the history of Renault Trucks in Africa.
"Our new range is uniquely ahead of the market in terms of robustness, productivity and services provided to our customers.
" By launching these new vehicles, designed to help hauliers keep costs down, Renault Trucks is supporting its customers in the contribution they make to developing the economy in the region, particularly in the field of construction and mining."
Renault is expecting significant growth in the two markets and expects an increase of 2% to 5% in market share in South Africa over the next three years.
Renault C, K and D range of trucks were launched across Europe in 2013 and 2014.
