MojaEV Kenya Launches NETA V Electric Cars for Nairobi
MojaEV's debut in the Kenyan market. In Kenya, MojaEV presently sells a number of electric car models, including the Neta V and a few Skyworth variants.
For the Nairobi cab industry, MojaEV introduced 100 NETA V electric vehicles. The remaining 80 NETA Vs will be delivered by the end of this year, with the first 20 having already been delivered to their individual taxi dri
MojaEV anticipates delivering 500 cars by the middle of the following year. An important step toward transforming the local transportation scene will be taken when these cars are leased to Nairobi taxi drivers. According to MojaEV, compared to conventional internal combustion engines, electric vehicles offer a number of financial benefits. Taxi drivers can increase their profitability and overall financial stability by utilizing NETA V electric automobiles, which have lower fuel and maintenance costs.
According to MojaEV, this program helps individual drivers as well as the Nairobi taxi industry's transition to a more sustainable economic model. Accessing banking services is a problem for many Kenyan cab drivers, which makes it hard for them to get loans or other financial facilities for buying cars. In order to solve this problem, MojaEV Kenya Limited has teamed up with banking institutions to develop a system that allows customers to pay for taxi rides straight from the bank accounts of drivers. Taxi drivers will be able to obtain loans and gradually improve their financial situation thanks to this arrangement, which will help them establish a financial history.
MojaEV claims that there is a significant need for effective and eco-friendly taxi services because 4.5 million Nairobi residents, or around 60% of the city's population, depend on public transportation. Only 11% of Nairobi's population now uses digitally hailing cabs, suggesting that the industry has a large room for expansion.
MojaEV sells Skyworth SUVs to fleet operators and individual customers in addition to fostering the expansion of the electric taxi sector.
Additionally, MojaEV delivered three high-end Skyworth SUVs to Nairobi local customers. "We're celebrating more than just the delivery of these beautiful vehicles," said Mr. Wang, CEO of MojaEV, who spoke at the occasion. Kenya is embarking on a new chapter in its quest for environmentally friendly transportation. The Skyworth SUVs are the ideal combination of performance, luxury, and zero-emissions technology, and they support Kenya's larger climate action objectives.
According to MojaEV, the Skyworth SUV is the best option for people wishing to lower their carbon footprint without sacrificing comfort or luxury because of its excellent performance, roomy cabin, and cutting-edge technologies. The automobile has zero tailpipe emissions thanks to its all-electric drivetrain, which directly lowers Kenya's total carbon emissions.
